Actually 17" is OK, since I am still using my inspiron 1720. and I am planning to replace the my 1920*1080 screen with new notebook, if they have same sockets. Inspiron 1720 stil have enough configuration but I just want to change with hardware raid compatible one.

Is there any 15" laptop with 2 hdd bay on the market?

I know a few laptops that support Dual Drives and raid

    Dell Alienware M17x, M18x,

Several MSI Laptops in 15 and 17 inch format, such as the GT683, 783 Etc including the barebones versions. I have the 15 inch MSI 16F2 series.

    Dell Precsion M4600 and M6600

Sure Sager has a few as well.
