    My friend ordered a 1520 with only 1 gb of ram and he wants to upgrade.
    he wants to spend very little.
    Can anyone recommend some good/cheap ram to me? Maybe Ram from Frys or Newegg.

    Are you getting two sticks of that?

    Since your friend ordered with 1GB, it might be two 512MB sticks instead of 1GB.

    i am willing to bet it is 2x512MB sticks. dell wouldnt take the pricey way out...
