    According to docs, it does support 12 gigs of ram, interesting. it's probably 4 gigs + 8 gigs, i wonder why 24 gigs won't work then?

    I didnt say it wouldnt work, it just wouldnt be Dual Channel.

    It would be in a single channel just as my current 16 gigs stick? Or after adding +8 gigs would even lower my current performance?
