I recently returned my 1520 and today my account was credited for the purchase price MINUS TAXES! I called in and they are supposed to be correcting it in 3-5 business days, but for anyone else who returns a computer, be sure and check your refund amount!

I spoke with a few different reps and no one mentioned a restocking fee. I don't think they really enforce this, especially not if you say something is wrong with your laptop.

a year ago i sent back a desktop and they credited back everything but the tax. when i called back in to customer care i was told they don't credit back tax. iknew this was crap - that is against the law. so they told me to talk to the accounting dept and they verified what i thought to be true - they cannot and should not be keeping the tax.

My tax was refunded yesterday. I think everything is correct now--I'm waiting for my next statement to be sure.
