It has every feature I want in a notebook. It does look very thick and pretty heavy, but I am mainly looking for a DTR thats semi moblie when I need to work on major projects at school. I was looking at an XPS 1330 and in fact I have it ordered. But I was thinking to contiune using my IBM X30 for at school, and go with a 1520 for around the house, to use at lans ect... I miss my laptop being moblie. What do you guys think? There is about a 700$ difference between the configs. Main advatages for the 1520 is the following

    15.4 WSXGA+
    8600GT 256MB GDDR3(I hope)

My configuration should cost around 1300$ with shipping and tax. Might be able to get some more money off, or mabey free overnight shipping. what do you guys think.

I think you should go with the 1520 because if you plan to game the M1330 isn't gonna really do it for you. Also, the 1520 still maintains mobility, just not as much as the M1330. Another reason is because of major price difference. If you want, consider a 1420 instead of the M1330.

I would but the 1420 only has the 8400GS. If it had the GT or 8600GS I would be all over that bad boy.
