A quick question; has anyone received their laptop (Preferably the M1330) BEFORE the estimated delivery date?

I'm a student, and school starts Sept 1st, and my estimated date is Sept 3rd. This is gonna be a problem for me, as I'll be at least a week or two without laptops (School is far away from home)

    Thanks.

I was once full of hope like you...
I've been bittered by my experience with dell.
I ordered 7/11 with est. date of 7/30. now its estimated at 8/6, and still not in the boxing stage.

Call and try to get them to expedite your order. explain your situation.

i ordered mine on 7-23 and had a shipping date of 8-23. now, i just got a tracking number and an email saying mine has shipped. if you want one quickly, get the black color, no LED screen, and no nvidia card. i don't play games on my laptop, so i didn't get the card and the LED screen just isn't worth $150.

My estimated ship date is Monday. I'm still in build stage. I've been in build since the day I ordered (July 13th) three weeks ago today.

i was talknig to a dell rep today and i was told that people either get their laptops before the estimate date or they will get delayed. they usually make the estimate date longer than the actual estimated date to make people happy when they receive it early or atleast satisfied if it is delivered there on time.

Hmmm...the CSR said that people usually get it before the estimated date or it is delayed....

Not really many options left are there??? I have to give that Rep credit for the wisdom of that thought.
