That guy is in error, LED Toshiba panel is no different from LED CMO panel in terms of thickness (I know, I had one replaced with another). It's more likely the laptop with LED screen was replaced with a laptop that had CCFL screen. Dell is known to make mistakes like that from day one, when such screens started to ship (if you do a search, you'll find that one of first 1330s shipped had the wrong screen, CCFL instead of the ordered LED).

Just a quick comment. I noticed alot of you guys that have the 1530 on order went with the 9 cell batt instead of the 6 cell. I ordered mine with the 6 cell ( I never really need that much battery only time ). Do you think for some reason that this is what is holding up some of the orders?

So it appears that the first 3 delivered to people on NBR all had the 6 cell instead of the 9 cell.

You would be foolish to buy the 9 Cell with the prices so high right now

I ordered mine with a 6 cell on 4/15. The original ship date was supposed to be 4/23 and has since been pushed to 4/28.

Well, I didn't like the high price tag on the 9-cell battery, but I want the longest battery life possible so I spent the money on that as opposed to on Vista Ultimate.

I also like that the 9-cell battery raises the back of the laptop a little bit, making it inclined which in turn makes typing more comfortable.
