Hey everyone. My 1st notebook!!! I even skipped going to the gym after work so i could play around on my new toy. I really like it... One quick question, out of handful probably coming up in the weeks to come. I was able to run the wireless and access a few linksys routers today-cool stuff! I have since then installed Norton Internet Security (came with free system) and i cannot access wireless. This is what it says. "No Supported Wireless Adapters Available in the System" Can anyone help me out? I havent taken the time to check it out yet. thought id ask here and see if i can get some help. Thanks.

I'd get rid of Norton. It is likely only a 90 day trial version anyway. If you are looking for a firewall, I use ZoneAlarm which is free and good for the basic stuff.

I got this Norton Internet Security for 15 months so im going to keep using it. Found my problem. I went to Start, Programs, Connect To, and then "Wireless Internet Connection" so now its fixed, wow 12, 12 wireless networks available on my street. Well, at least 3/4 are secured... hehe,, works,, yeah yeah,,,,, thanks again,,, ill be back with more questions soon!

Apart from the fact that it is unneighbourly and lacking in respect for other's property, unauthorised use of non-public wireless is illegal. If you do so, you might find yourself with a law suit. :)
