    Recent dell turn around times..

    Hey guys, just stumbled upon this forum and so far it has answered a ton of my questions, but one that I had difficultly finding(and yes, I used the search button :) ), was what the recent Dell in production -> shipped turn around time has been. I ordered a laptop on the 9th from small business(the 6400), and it says it'll be here the 25-29th which is alot longer than i thought. Anyone order anything recently that has shipped alot sooner than their estimated date?

    Most manufacturers beat their estimated ship dates. If you ordered on the 9th, you should receive the notebook by the 17th or so.

    I ordered a Dell 9400 on the 8th May and it will be delivery the 14th May

    In case anyone else had the same question. I ordered on Wed. Checked today(a saturday!) and it had shipped. No tracking number or anything yet, but I went with 3-5 day shipping, so it said it'd be here the 16-18th..so by this Friday! Originally it was supposed to ship the 22nd, and then I'd receive it close the end of the month..Thank god that didn't happen!
