I asked for a replacement because one of the battery hinge didn't fully shut.

    Original
Made in Japan/ Assembled in Malaysia

    Replacement
Made in Korea/ Assembled in CHINA

I believe Japan made batteries are a lot better? Well this replacement fixed the hinge problem...but battery still wobbles...as much

I do not think there will be much of a difference because it has been made in different countries.

I think what you wrote is a little harsh on Korea. I am not from Korea but if I where I would be very mad.

From what i read... Flash memory is ALOT better if made from japan than taiwan. Cars are alot better if made from japan than korea. oh yea and.. Toys are lead free if not made in china :) Just stating some FACTS.

Wasn't sure on battery, but whenever I do buy batteries i notice on the packaging, they made sure you knew it was a "JAPAN CELL"

Oh and i'm from china... and the korea cell was assembled in china

HOLD YOUR HORSES! Do not go off and start insulting Taiwan they have many good pruducts from there including almost 85% of the laptop market. And I believe most ram come from Taiwan. But yes I will not buy Toys from China, let alone food.

I'm sorry but I HAVE to rip that apart. At least part of it. Most toys are lead free that are made in China. It's been a few batches here and there that have had lead in it. Which is clearly unacceptable but to blindly say "Outside of China, there will be no lead" is well just way too harsh

And not buying food from China? HAHA. There are plenty of additives that are from China. That enriched bread? The minerals and whatnot used to "enrich" it probably came from China.

Perhaps we should just keep this discussion on laptops now :D

Aren't you over reacting? Chinese and Korean stuff is good, but everybody knows that Japanese are better, maybe the difference in this particular case would not be much, still I would prefer Japanese made product.

Actually Korean automakers are definitely making strides. The Kia Optima beat the Camry in a comparo by Car and Driver. They noted that the interior quality was leaps and bounds above Camry. (Hey I like the Camry, but I agree that the current one just sucks.)

BTW-Camry came in fifth and Optima in third

    And no, I'm not Korean

The Camry for the North American market is actually made in USA; some in Canada. In terms of interior quality, Made in Japan Camrys are better. (This is based on actual experience not lifted from the Internet)
