    Recording TV shows on my 640m

    guys,

    i have a 640m with s-video out. Im able to connect the laptop to my tv. I can see my desktop on my tv. My question is, how can i watch my tv shows on my laptop so i can record it? do i need additional hardware or will a software suffice?

    You'll need a TV tuner to record TV on your 640m. The S-Video output is just that. It is an output. Search a site like NewEgg.com for TV tuners that fit your needs.
