I have just bought new dell inspiron 9400. One from my problems is too noise cd-rom. I don't know if it is normal but noises are very loud and if I press cover it is ok. Maybe somebody had the same problem?

Second problem is windows. I made upgrade windows and after that my system died:/ I couldn't restart and any restore system, even safe mode didn't work. I tried to recovery system using recovery partition on hard drive. I pressed CTRL-F11 but it didn't work:/ How I can repair problem of recovery system? Is that partition only windows and drivers or the same system, which I received at the beginning?

    Thanks for any help.

If you just bought a system, and it's a lemon, return it.

However, if you can boot to the CD, you should be able to use the recovery disc and get up and running.
