    Recovery Drive deleted?

    Hi guys,

    I have studio 1555, I have Windows 7 with that.
    when I tried to install XP on that my Recovery drive for Windows 7 is deleted by mistake... :(

    how can I get it back?

    Snarkhede, You should've gotten another Hard Drive to do the testing on. The Dell hidden "Restore" partition was gone...as soon as you chose to reformat the HD for XP.

    You can call Dell and explain the situation. They may replace the hard drive you have with a Preinstalled Win7 drive, but as soon as you boot it up....you'll have to let it diagnose your computer to install the correct drivers and software. This takes a long time to complete.

    You should have received several discs of recovery media with your machine.
