This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Accidently got rid of recycling bin during re-install. how do i get it back?

    If you're using Windows XP, easiest way is to download TweakUI.

    In Vista, go to Personalization in the Control Panel.

    ....and of course, you could have Googled to find these same answers.

    If you're using Windows XP, just right click on the desktop, click on Properties, go to the Desktop tab and check off Recycle Bin.

    I've deleted my recycling bin by accident several times.
    I'd like to get that option to delete it out of the context menu.
