Hi, is there any reason why not to do a clean install of Windows Vista on a M1330 without MediaDirect? I really can't see myself using it in the future, but will not installing it cause any problems?

Just make sure you get rid of the hidden partition that has Media Direct on it.

I did a clean install on my Vostro and I did not install MediaDirect either. I have no use for the program whatsoever. Everything runs fine so no need to worry.
