    Hello everybody!

My computer was running really bad.. I thought that maybe having too many cleaning/ optimizing programs working on my computer that it was creating some issues, so I decided to just start over fresh and reformat. I have reformatted plenty of times before, so that was no problem. I got everything done, everything was running super-smooth, except my MediaDirect wasn't working. When I pushed the button, it said that i had to reinstall the software.

So I got on here, followed the MediaDirect repair guide, but for some reason my computer wouldn't boot from my MD repair cd that i made last time I reformatted. So I tried to use my jump drive to do the repair, but no effect, I was getting an error saying it couldn't be repaired.

I figured i must have done something wrong to mess up the partition. So I tried the "Long Method" of repairing MD, the one where you edit your partition table... BAD move. After that, my computer said it could not boot because my partition table was incorrect. I tried to revert back to a saved table record, but no luck. My computer wouldn't boot to the hard drive.

So I reformatted again, and deleted the extra partition, leaving the 47MB and larger unpartitioned space, and installed Windows AGAIN :( its so fun installing Windows. But then it was asking me which partition to boot in to.. it had never done this before. I booted into the larger partition, but discovered that it was not the C: drive when it suddenly wouldn't install any drivers! Great.. another install of Windows.

So I reformat, delete all partitions into one, install Windows, and everything is fine now, except on occasion Windows hangs on shutdown, and once it reverted my screen resolution to the lowest setting  I am thinking that it has something to do with the display drivers... I had overclocked my 7900GS before using the G-Force drivers, but when I reinstalled I used the stock Dell drivers. Do you think there is a conflict here?

I know, long story for a small question, but I just thought I would share!
