    Refurbished Extras?

    I just ordered a refurbished M1210 from the Dell outlet and noticed at checkout that it contains a TV Tuner /W Remote. I was wondering if this came with all M1210's or was it something that just came with refurbished products. Also, how exactly do TV Tuners work as i have never had one before.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    refurbished products come with watever the original order was. They just fix up the computer, they don't put in extra accesories or take away anything.

    thanks for the help. also, how long does it take to confirm an order from dell? I have only recieved the order acknowledged email so far, not the confirmed order email and i ordered it early this morning. i paid with pay-pal if that makes a difference...

    not sure about paying with paypal, but should be no diff than direct cc. The outlet will ship the same day if you ordred early in the mroning. You will have to hound them directly for a tracking number, because the website keeps saying its in transit and wont post the tracking number for at least a few days.

    Ships from TX, so it depends on where you are in the country.

    Basically, they let you watch and record TV. Most function as video capture cards that allow you to record television onto your hard drive. I'm guessing that your M1210 has MCE 2005. Given that, you can go into Media Center and watch television and record your favorite shows.

    thanks for the help. also, i ordered with paypal because i didnt want to go searching for my wallet and then my CC, so i just entered in my paypal information, seemed easier at the time... now im stuck calling them trying to get them to reissue me the coupon for the order that didnt go through.

    yea... actually, i found a better model. but after 15 minutes it disappears from my cart =(
    have to keep adding every 15 minutes till my coupon arrives haha

    well, i got the coupon and ordered it, but it said the estimated ship date is the 22nd... are they ever delivered early by chance?
