Hi, should I get a refurbished XPS or new XPS? My budget's around $1,100 w/ tax, shipping and everything. Will a refurbished XPS save me that much money or would a new XPS with coupons be only a little more? Also, is there any difference in quality between the refurbished and new machines?

I'm having a headache with this too, lol

with your budget, you might want to order one for about $1249 then use 20% coupon to bring it down to around $999. So, it'll cost right around your budget :D This is for brand new option.

I'd shoot for a refurbished one myself. You can find some GREAT deals on there, unless you use the 25% off coupons.

On the second hand question warranty is easily transferable with dell , you have to fill out a form and send it off.

Refurb might be better, however if they have a lot of vouchers money off etc on new its worth a delve
