    Hi,

I had removed all the partitions from my Inspiron 9400 while testing for Vista. Having re-installed vista over the weekend, I cannot use Dell MediaDirect reinstallation CD to restored my partition. A blue window with Dell MediaDirect appears but nothing else happens.

    I have done following steps:
    1. Partitioned my 100g HDD and left 1.5g for MediaDirect unpartitioned.
    2. Installed Vista on C drive (35g partitioned)
    3. Data on D Drive

I am using "Dell MediaDirect Reinstallation CD" which came with my system (not ordered specially). I also have "Dell Media Experience" CD that I haven't used.

    Please help me restore MediaDirect.

    Cheers
    BSinghson

I formated my Dell inspiron1720, and now I don't have Dell Media Direct anymore, and the Dell Media Direct button has no function....However, I have the reinstallation CD, but I need help on installing it; I don't know how to reinstall it! If anyone has a solution to my problem please let me know.....I'd appreciate it if someone provided a step-by-step guide........Thank you soooo much!!! :)
