    Hi

There's about 3 thunderbugs that have died in the middle of the screen, they are driving me nuts! Is there anyway to remove the LCD glass on the Dell Studio 17, and remove the bugs?

    Thanks

Are you sure they are bugs? I have done ccfl replacement more than 10 times and there are very slim chances that anything could get into the lcd panel. And don’t even think about getting them out, you will have to disassemble the lcd panel into pieces which could take few hours and you will make more damage and scratches to the mirror or other plastic layers than bugs. If you have in home warranty just make some good story that your screen is getting dark or grainy and they will replace the lcd panel, ribbon and gpu. The engineer does not care if that is true or not, he will not even look at it just replace the parts.
