Anyone know what might have caused this? Then again, I didn't try turning on the laptop before removing it. It's been sitting around about two weeks

I was removing the keyboard so I could have a look at the wifi card to see if it was loose since my sis was having technical issues with it. Anyway, now the laptop just doesn't boot. The power light turns on but nothing really happens. I can hear the cd spin if I insert a disc but that's it

Re-seat your RAM modules. Take them out, push them back in the slots firmly. I had a similar issue with my Studio 1535 not booting, and a loose RAM stick turned out to be the culprit.

It could also be that the keyboard isn't connected correctly. I think the BIOS needs a keyboard to boot...or would you just get a message then saying "no keyboard connected" ?
