I've bought a Dell 17R 5737 and a new 240GB Crucial 500 SSD for it and just found out I can't install the OS from the recovery media I created from the installation on the original drive.

When I try to boot up using the recovery media a message tells me "Your hard drive is not supported for this process. Please use a hard drive at least 931 GB in size".

Does anyone know how I can get around this problem. I've tried to find a downloadable windows 8 ISO but could only find ones that work on upgrades.

Phones Dell technical support and they're sending out a standard windows 8 OS disk and drivers disk.
