Well... quite symbolically, two days before my 9200 is scheduled to arrive, the power cord on my 8200 has frayed and is non-functional.

This happened right at the point of plug-in where the thumb/finger grasp is. I tried to do a little low tech surgery and repair it with some electrical tape but to no avail.

Now, I'm hoping the power cord that comes with the 9200 is similar such that I can use it to power up my 8200 and remove files, etc. However, for the purposes of continued use of my 8200 (which I'm giving to my mom), is Dell the only place where I can get a replacement?
