An employee dropped his laptop and shattered the LCD. (I know...shoulda bought a Thinkpad.) Dell will ship us a replacement LCD for $210, but wants $300 for a technician to install it. How difficult would this be to just fix ourselves? Or anyone in downtown San Francisco want to replace it for $75?

Its pretty simple to do yourself http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/latd610/en/sm_en/index.htm
Use that to guide you through it.
If you have ham fists or no opposable thumbs I'd say don'tBut any reasonable amount of dexterity should be fine
