When ordering over the phone, would I be able to allocate a certain manufacturer for the screen? The unpredictability of having a clear screen is really influencing my decision to purchase a Dell laptop. Would a Sales Rep be able to note this?

Not a chance in hell. I've tried this many times with no luck.

I also tried this WHEN I got a crappy monitor, with no luck :)

So for a replacement, you are able to choose the screen manufacturer? In that case, I have no gripes about buying a Dell laptop then. Thanks.

Even then, nothing is guaranteed. Be careful and don't allow it to go over the return period if you don't like it.

What about if you're ordering it through the company you work for (tax free benifits) could you request a specific screen brand on the basis of needing a top quality laptop

OT: not quite sure how salary sacrifice works, if its ordered by phone do u still get the current special offers?
