In another topic, someone requested pic's of the 1210. So here are a few I took. They are on imageshack to keep the serverload down here. The beast in the back is a 19" Viewsonic CRT to help with scale.

Here are a few basic ones for scale. Flash was on.
    http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/7641/1210cdforntflash5qw.jpg
    http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/9905/1210rightopenflash6ad.jpg
    http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/8615/1210cdsizeflash4jt.jpg
    http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/5836/1210downonflash5wj.jpg

These are sets of flash on and then flash off to show the screen.
    Set 1:
    http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/2401/1210frontonflash7cm.jpg
    http://img54.imageshack.us/img54/1998/1210frontonnoflash1ix.jpg

    Set 2
    http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/6364/1210leftopenflash5il.jpg
    http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/6866/1210leftopennoflash5cm.jpg

As you can see, the flash off pics really show what the screen has to offer. The flash pics are just to show the difference, it never looks like that while actually viewing.

These are pics of the laptop closed.

    http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/3369/1210rightsideflash0ro.jpg

I love how sleek it is when it's closed. Doesn't feel thick at all.

If anyone wants any more pictures, feel free to let me know!

thanks great pics. (from everyone I've talked to who has a m1210, they say there is absolutely no light leakage to be seen, good news for us m1210 owners )

    On light leekage:

I can't see any. When I try to take a pic, the whole screen goes blue since my camera tries to adjust some freaky way (along the top especially, in like a wave pattern). But be it on screensaver or desktop, I don't seen any.

Wow at first I thought how did you get it such a short time, then I saw you didnt have the web cam. Adding the A/V package adds like a week to the build time, but its worth it for me. I could really use that camera in my college lectures.

Yeah, out of college for me :). Plus, I have a $70 pair of Senheisser headphones, and don't use mobile broadband, so I could not justify $100 for a webcam. But thats best for my needs, I would have also used the cam in classes if I could have.

Actually I got the A/V package which I ordered on the 15th and was shipped out the 19th, so I don't really think it adds that much build time. According the order status page, my entire m1210 was built/tested/packed in a day. From all of the posts I've seen, it seems to just be really random imo. I too got the camera for college lectures; I'm sure it'll be worth it.

    Gohanssjn,

Just curious to know what size battery you have? the 6 or 9 - cell?

Plus how hot is it getting underneath?

    Thanks,

    W.G.

I have the 9 cell. It's gets a little warm, but only with games. With Word and such, it's just a little warm. Very lapable.

    Thanks, old thread resurected!

And size pics, what should i take them next too? I have an old I8000, but that thing is a BEAST compared to my little 1210.

EDIT: Lol, that last post was 6/26, nevermind XD

If you add any more pics, could you take one with twelve inch ruler in width in front of the screen!

Nice pics. gohan or rpsbp, if you have time can you have pictures of viewing angles? Horizontal and vertical ones would be good, also do you know which type of LCD is in your 1210's? thanks.
