I live in two different continents, and so own dvd's from different regions. However my notebook only allows me to switch regions a limited number of times. I've approached the limit for switching regions, how do I reset it? Even a format/fresh install of windows doesn't reset it. Any ideas? Thanks.

Reformating your pc won't reset it. You might check your dvd drive's manufacturer to see if they had some 3rd party create a resetting tool or possbily a firmware update.

You might try this also: http://www.dvdidle.com/dvd-region-free.htm

I've never used it, so I'm not sure if it would work or not.
