I keep getting a message in the bottom right corner that it saying that my computer will run better in a resolution of 1280 X 800, but it's already in this setting. Is there any way how to fix this?

I get that message on my Dell every time I close a game that isn't running at the same resolution as my default settings. The message goes away after a few seconds from closing the program. I also have the Nvidia card too, perhaps it's an issues with video card, don't know.

If the message is executed by a program, then is it not possible to simply exit the program. For example, by just exiting the program through Task Manager?
