Can you tell me how to do this, please?
I restarted, pressed F8, and got the Advanced boot options menu, but there wasn't a 'repair your comp' option on the screen. There was something like it, so I tried that. A few things happened, a message said 'repaired' and started the machine up in safe mode!
    Help!
    Thanks in advance.

You could try booting from the recovery DVD that Dell would have shipped with the 1535.
