    Restoring my inspiron 1420 to the settings of when i bought it?

    I have a 1420, and i am going to be selling it on ebay so i want the computer to be the same as it was when i bought it. I still have my recovery partition, but i have no idea what to do with it... Thanks

    The recovery partition is the same information as your recovery disks. If you don't have recovery disks, you need to start up your recovery manager and burn the partition onto 2 dvds or 1 DLDVD.

    I also have a recovery partition in my Vostro 1400, but it has no image. I have heard a few other cases like that.
