I have already requested a return and the courier company is coming on friday to collect my laptop. I am wondering if the laptop is lost in transit from my home to dell, what can I do? Am I able to get the refund anyway? Does anyone has an experience about this? Thanks.

Just make sure you get a receipt from the courier. I sent mine back with UPS after i got my replacement and a month later Dell called to ask if i could please return them the old system. I mailed them the receipt i got (luckily i still had it) and never heard from em again. So....get the receipt and hold on to it!
