So, i just returned a xps 1640 after i wasn't happy with it. Went on today to order some other stuff from dell.com and i noticed that under my account homepage the return is listed and the status is listed as shipped...

Anyone seen this before? i know they say it takes like 30 days to get a refund, but just wondering. I did also receive an email saying that my laptop had reached the return center for dell.

Yes, I have had this before. Basically it is for Dell's accounting purposes. For every item, whether it be because of an in warranty part or an item sold, if the item was later returned to dell, on the dell page it will show a negative value and say shipped.

This is also a good way to see if your return was processed and if it was for the correct amount.
