 I'm seeing more than one post about returning a Dell 1520 - I have had mine since January and have been battling it since I took it out of the box! :( I have been using customer service and tech support and lots of the stated non-fixes (as I call them) that they offer me and tell me to do. I cannot begin to state how much I HATE the 1520 all together!! I want to get rid of it - but I would really like to hear what problems the others here also had with the same unit!! I cannot believe how horrible his "new" system is and want to return it and get a newer, better system but am uncertain how to convince them to stop offering me things that do not fix it - but rather assist me in getting an actual working laptop!! I don't feel I should have to suffer for the problems of a unit that was bad from the start - and one I am making payments on!! argh

You can't return a laptop that's 8 months old. It doesn't work like that.

If the laptop has been sent into service 4 times for the same thing, then you are entitled to a replacement under the no-lemon policy. However, at this point, a refund is out of the question.

What problems are you having with it? I like mine so much I have almost enough parts to make a second one.

Lithus is right....they will send you a refurbished one if you want, but they wont give you the money back after 8 months..
