If I were to return my current e6400, of which I have installed windows 7 RC on, would I have to reinstall vista and drivers and whatever other software came with the box before returning it to dell?

And i'm noob at this, but how would i reinstall vista. With 7, I just installed it on OS (C :), replacing all of vista and making a windows.old file under OS (C :). Would it be the same way?

no, you don't have to reinstall vista because they will reformat it either way

and to reformat with vista, just do it the normal way, delete all the partitions that you don't need, and then install vista in the free space
