Hey all, I just recieved my E1505 with WSXGA+ screen and on the very first boot up I noticed a very significant amount light leakage from the bottom of the screen. So much in fact that when I look at black and white images (x-rays) that it really bothers me. I did not have this problem on my 4 year old Inspiron 8000, nor my Dell 2001FP monitor.
Would I be within my right to return the notebook with in the 21 day return window without penalty (15% restock fee) since the light leakage issue is bothering me so much? I think I might go in another direction.

    Anythoughts?
    Thanks

mine has some leakage on the bottom as well. I think there is a good ratio of the laptops out there that have it. Personally I can live it (same with my HDTV having the rainbow issue), but if you aren't comfortable then just return it or exchange it, but chances are you might end up with another laptop with the samething. If you make it sound like it's the computer's problem then I don't think Dell will charge you the 15% restocking fee.
