I ordered my first M1330 a couple weeks ago and found the whining noise unbearable.. Called tech support and have them send me a new one.. but it still has the same issue.. So now i'm going to get my money back..
I love the size of the M1330 and the LED.. too bad there's no fix for the whine.
It seems the M1530 does not have the issue.. atleast not all of them..
I notice today they came out with a new 1900x1200 display.. how does this stack up with the LED on the M1330?
How's the battery life on the M1530?

I don't have the whining noise. What CPU did you have in your system?

actually i have M1330 and no whining at all, i barely hear the fans... i had a clicking noise on my HD that i asked to be replaced (my friend have the same problem with his M1530), now not even this clicking though. its being a great laptop great mobility and power... of course m1530 has a better graphic card. About the display being 1900x1200 maybe its a new display or deal...my friend so i cant say much, I have the LED and look so crispy and the colours looks so vivid all in a 13.3" that i will never go back for a 15.4" again
well thats all because i prefer mobility and im a casual gamer.
Even though the m1530 is a quite light you cant compare with m1330.. caring it for 1.5h on the crowed tube everyday would make you get a m1330 hehe well just saying....

    later...
