Hey guys, has anyone ever tried to return the 2nd,3rd year warranty of the 3 year warranty?

I've heard that this one person bought his M1330 through EPP, through which 3 year warranty was required, and later called after receiving the system asking to refund the 2nd,3rd year of the warranty and was credited back $179!

    Is this doable? Any experiences?

I wanted to return a 3-year Complete Care warranty. The rep said I could do it but I would have to switch to 1 year CC. He wouldn't let me downgrade to the 1 year mail-in warranty. The price difference wasn't worth losing two years of warranty so I kept it.

What is the difference between the 1 year CC and 1 year mail-in warranty?

And what price difference did he offer you?
