I've been using RmClock to undervolt my Dell Inspiron E1505 for awhile under Windows XP and its been great. But recently I went from XP to Windows 7 32bit, it stopped working. It'll just run the default voltages. I've tried running it under administrator and Windows XP compatibility mode but still doesn't work. I was wondering if anyone knows how to make it work under Windows 7 32bit?
Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

try to uncheck the Management > Enable OS Power management in RMclock,
then in windows 7 use Balanced power plan -
Just tried it and its not working. Its still running at the default voltages.

are you sure you ticked the multiplier boxes in the Performance On demand profile page?
-
Yeah I did, I followed the instructions in the Undervolting Guide.
-
hmm i see
In the Windows Power profiles, there should be a profile called RMclock Power Management, it should be under Additional Plans.
Try selecting that. -
It works now. Had to put back on OS Power management integration. Now my laptop is running cooler.
Thanks a lot for the help. -
Hi, another question relating to this. I noticed every time I restart or boot up my computer, I always have to go to the Power Options and put it in RMClock Management. Is there a way to make it so it automatically chooses that Power Management option, because it a bit of a hassle to do it every time I restart.
Thanks -
try closing rmclock first then change the windows power profile and restart
-
So, I close RMClock and then choose the RmClock Power Management?
-
If that's the case, the RmClock Power profile only shows when running RmClock program, so it'll just go back to balanced power everything I start up.
