    That being intel turbo memory. A guy a couple of threads back said this, and I couldn't understand it being true: The vostro is like santa rosa on a stick, and has spare spots for the card - why wouldn't it work?

    Dell does not support the Turbo Memory technology so you cant.

    it works fine, there are even instructions in the manual to install the card

    It was just in preperation of the upcoming vista patch that makes it useful.

    It's clearly not worthless tech, it just has terrible support right now - it's a great idea and has obvious advantages, but it's just terribly implemented right now.

    Oh, pardon me, I was speaking in the present tense, where it is worse than useless, worthless, and a waste of time, money, and resources, just like Vista. :p
