That being intel turbo memory. A guy a couple of threads back said this, and I couldn't understand it being true: The vostro is like santa rosa on a stick, and has spare spots for the card - why wouldn't it work?
-
Dell does not support the Turbo Memory technology so you cant.
-
it works fine, there are even instructions in the manual to install the card
-
Who cares? It's a worthless tech anyways.
-
you could get a bit more time to play on battery with this tech.
-
It was just in preperation of the upcoming vista patch that makes it useful.
It's clearly not worthless tech, it just has terrible support right now - it's a great idea and has obvious advantages, but it's just terribly implemented right now. -
Oh, pardon me, I was speaking in the present tense, where it is worse than useless, worthless, and a waste of time, money, and resources, just like Vista.
M$ strikes again!
Robson & 1500, somoene said they weren't compatiable?
