Hi, the rubber gromets/stoppers on the bottom of my dell my dell inpiron 640m are worn down and a few have fallen off. They are the rubbers that help with airflow and stop it from moving while on a table.

Has anybody ever heard of getting replacements from dell or whatever? Is it possible?

    Thanks!

You can give support a call and place an order. The part numbers are as follows:

    MW142 Strikezone Rubber Foot, 640M/E1405
    KF779 RUBBER FOOT, BOTTOM, 630M/640M (4 Pcs)(RoHS)

You might also want to try at your local electronics shop. Frys Electronics has a very wide selection of rubber bumpers. Might find one that matches the originals.

Just give them a call, they will send you those, even if you are out of warranty they can make an exception in some cases, the rubber feet doesnt cost too much, ask them nicely and they will send those to you.
