    Run MediaDirect on Computer Without Button?

    Would there be anyway to install and run MediaDirect on a desktop or laptop without the MediaDirect button?

    It all depends on if the media direct paritioning system wants to work on that computer, I think. If it searches for a correct BIOS, then it definetly won't work.

    After everything is set up, the choice of the Embedded XP (Media Direct) can be added to your OS's boot menu.

    i'm not entirely sure this will work.

    I might try it with the computer I have GRUB with Ubuntu and XP then.

    I forgot that you might have to get drivers to install on media direct...I'm not sure how dell does it...with universal drivers or what.

    I think you'll have better luck with a Linux HTPC installation.
