I have a question for E1705 owners who opted for the 7800 or 7900 nvidia cards and the TrueLife screen. The 1920x1200 resolution extremely high - I was wondering how much success you have with running games in native resolution.

I assume that in games like Oblivion, you have to turn down the resolution. When running out of native, how does the display look?

Secondly, how is the overall build quality? I have heard mixed feelings about it, and I don't want it falling apart after a few years.

Specifically, how secure is the power connector? In my last notebook (Gateway 400VTX, 2003), it wore down to the point where it was only making contact about 1/2 the time, and charging the battery would cause the connector to get to temperatures hot enough to burn you. It is now unusable.

    Thanks,
    Nick
