I cannot get a signal from this output, when i plugged into my TV it isnt recognize it, i change to xp by reading the total guide to xp in this forum, i have integrated graphics the intel one, so i downloaded the drivers from the intel site, because somehow they werent included in the "guide" as far as i know. I havent tried the VGA out, hope it works.. but does anybody had this problem before?

weird, so you didnt switch to xp? the weird thing is that it is sending a signal , well a noisy signal like when there is no channel on the tv.

dont worry i got it solved, it is just that you must plug s-video to s-video, i was passing it through a composite convertor and it didnt worked like in my desktop Radeon X1600

AFAIK, S-Video out of all DELL notebooks work with composite converter. Check advanced driver properties and make sure that the TV out is set properly (with the correct standard : NTSC/PAL)
