I got a replacement LED screen today for a 1330.

It was a Samsung - clearly branded, logo and everything.

Looks pretty good. Wish I could compare it side by side to a Toshiba.

Looks like there are 3 1330 LED screens now...

VERY bright - I think there is a bit of a blue tint (or at least compared to the ChiMei)

I'm probably gonna have to color calibrate.

Sorry - nope. Been there, done that.

The CCFL screen is thicker and it wouldn't fit. The Samsung I got yesterday fit right in there. Bezel snapped right back in place like new.

On my 1st screen replacement (bad pixels), Dell sent the wrong screen (non LED) and it was very obvious that it wouldn't fit.

The Sammy actually seems faster than the CMO to me....
There was some noticable 'blur' in fast action scenes on the CMO,
and seems to be less on the Sammy.

The Sammy is very bright on full, BTW...

    Does yours seem blue(ish)??

Maybe it's so darn bright and clear that I THINK it's blue.

I ordered a Pantone Huey Pro today, so in a few days,
    I'll know for sure...

I have two in front of me right now... two M1330's that is.

    One has the CMO1309

    One has the LCD2306

The LCD2306 one is a little brighter.

    through my naked eyes
    i dont see a bluish tint/tone.
very nice colors on my raw images
    not washed out nor grainy
of course, i dont know what i'm missing with the TMD LED
but this is above my very high expectations

Yeah, just had my screen replaced --> Hardware ID SEC5441

I guess that makes it a Samsung...

Beautiful screen, but DEFINATELY on the bluish side of things... but overall just looks smooth and silky...

Anybody know how I can calibrate this bad-boy?

I got a Huey pro and it works great.

I have multiple 24" Ultrasharps on my deak as well and matching them was another use for the Huey
