    SATA ExpressCard bootable?

    Can you boot off the expresscard slot in Dell laptops? Ie. I'd get an eSATA card and hook up some external drives.

    The technology is spotty right now. We have some RAID SATA Expresscard controllers in-house, none of them really work well as far as booting is concerned. Manufacturers have promised better support in future firmware updates.

    i own a m1210 and plan to boot off a usb IDE drive ... has anyone had success doing this ? :rolleyes:
