    SATA ports on Dell 17R SE 7720

    I have a Dell 17R SE 7720 and I wonder what type of SATA the mSATA port is. The mainboard is the 04M3YM. I tried to find information about it online but i didn't manage to find something.

    I used the SiSoftware Sandra in order to get the hardware information but the information I got from there confused me evenmore.

    Right now I have a Crucial M4 SSD connected to the mSATA port but I don't know how to check the speed of it. I think it would help to find out if the port is SATA2 or SATA3. I guess that the 2 remaining ports that appear in the picture are the optical drive and the preinstalled WD Scorpio Blue 1GB.

    Does anybody have any idea how I could determine the SATA type of the mSATA port?

    I also have another question. According to the same software (SiSoftware Sandra) the max. RAM for this laptop is 32GB. Could this be correct?
