Well, since my last install my card reader just REFUSES to acknowledge that my MS pro is in it. It has only been doing this since my last reinstal of windows, but I tried an SD card I had for my phone and that works just fine. I looked on dells website and theres no dirvers or anything for the card reader. The only "clue" I have that this might be a defective one is that when the MS should "lock" in there after its pressed in...well, it isnt, i can just pull it right out. Anyone have any ideas?

I have same problem with MS card on m1210, you can get computer to recognize it and read/write data if you hold card in, but it does not lock in like sd cards do.

Well their support doesn't depend on what product you bought, it's what kind of service of support you paid for.

All the inspiron's have their support out sourced to India. Its the XPS and the buisness computers that have their support in the US.
