    Just letting everyone know about a great deal i found on ebay for the seagate
    100GB momentus drive.

    It is the retail drive with 5 year warrenty for only 184.99

    I bought one and put it in my latitude d600 and it runs great. It replaced my
    7k60 drive. It is not that much slower and it runs much cooler.

    CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE DEAL

    ORDER QUICK AS THERE ARE ONLY 12 LEFT!!!!

    I put the Seagate 100gb hard drive in my D505 and I think it's great. I have a couple games, 8 full length movies, and about 1,500 songs on it and I still have about 60gb left. [8D]

    The heat it gives off is about the same as the OEM 40gb drive. I barely notice a speed boost, but coming from 4200rpm to 5400rpm must do something. And it makes as much noise as my OEM 40gb drive. I have no complaints so far.

    Hmmm . . . Can someone else give me their honest opinion on this HD? It's slower than mine, but I like the capacity.

    Dell Inspiron 8600:
    * 1.6 Ghz Pentium M * 1024 MB DDR SDRAM * 60 GB 7200 RPM HDD * 15.4" WSXGA+ * Internal Bluetooth * Intel Pro/Wireless 2200 * 4x CD/DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW) * ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 Pro Turbo 128 MB * Win XP Pro SP2 *

    * Apple 17" PowerBook G4 * 14" Toshiba Tecra 8000 * Apple 14" iBook G4 *

    Apart from this guy trying to promote his own link (probably), there is the fact that NewEgg.com has definitely offered this hard drive for MUCH cheaper than this. Also, buying through a reputable dealer would probably be a better bet than eBay. Have a nice day!
