I have a question about dell's free skin promotion, can it be customize to display any picture or do we have to choose a template of their own. If we can customize it, how do we do it because i love aviation, i would like to have mine display a picture of an aircraft or something.

As far as i know you can only pick from Dell's own template. their templates arent that bad espically if you want templates of your favorite university. If you are not looking for a university template the other choice are pretty limited.

    I choose a Gatech template.

Alright lets say i do get the skin, is it possible to remove it in the future? Like is it actually painted onto the laptop or a sticker or a cover...etc.

Some are saying its a sticker. *supposedly* you can remove it, but then you would need Goo Gone to get rid of the residue. I wouldn't get it. Just screws up the look.

No, i think the sticker is supposed to be made of materials that will not leave a residue. At least i'm hoping so, if not, shame on you dell, shame...

If its like a sticker, as far as the review Chaz did, It can be removed several times.... You might need a little Goo Gone though, it seems to always do the trick ;)

I decided it wasn't worth all the fuss, and ended up getting a carbon fiber snap in from ebay.
