    i was just checking my order confirmation...

    i ordered Slim and Light White LED Display with VGA Webcam
    which is
    1 320-5591 SLIM LCD, BLK W/ CAMERA M1330.... right?

    Mine is like this (without Camera)...

    1 320-5584 13.3 Inch Wide Screen WXGA TL WLED Backlit LCD without Camera, XPS M1330 $0.00

    It specifically mentions WLED. I think you got the regular LCD.

    No..... it should be 5583 or 5584 w/o camera. 5589/5591 are the mistaken sku's that caused all the cancelllations when they hit the build table.

    The problem has been fixed as of today so, it may indeed go through as a LED now whereas...earlier systems were just knocked out of the process and cancelled.

    The value of the 5591 is 48 bucks where the value of 5583 is 150. Thats how the diff was first figured out. Did you order online???

    no i odered and reordered on the phone. i reordered yesterday and that's the online confirmation they sent.

    i didn't really understand the problem with the sku, so they used the wrong screen? or can you elaborate?

    so with my order i'm NOT getting Slim and Light White LED Display with VGA Webcam?

    What should i do? =/ guess i'm recalling again tomorrow lol

    You have the wrong sku and it will get bumped if you ordered it yesterday. All Cdn orders were on hold yesterday while they tried to fix this; it was fixed only later in the day. Im sure i had stated this on my forum specific to cancellations and another.

    I have several threads relating to exactly this.

    So...here... trust me this time k?

    If your order is cancelled, leave it. They are accounting for all cancellations and placing the reorders specific to these; all of which will have a priority delivery date of which most believe it will be the end of the month since there were so many.

    This is of course if the problem is finished being corrected in the next few days. The LED issue is fixed and now they are just finishing up with the BT sku before reenstating all orders.

    You ordered the LED, but apparently the order management system is inserting the wrong part - so 5589 and 5591 are in fact not valid part numbers for the LED display, and as a result your order will get canceled when you reach the build stage.

    mine did get cancelled but i called and they reimplemented the order yesterday. so the screen issue should be fixed and i should not worry? when i complained about the issue they said i my laptop would be put on the priority line and today i got a call that my laptop should arrive in 4-5 days. So the screen isnt a problem anymore correct? just don't worry about it because they'll fix the issue?

    Your new order may get canceled as well, but it will be reinstated with the proper SKU.

    I read your post earlier today and was going to respond but... Since you asked i will now.

    First, there is no priority line and your system will not arrive in 4-5 days. The first systems to arrive in Canada are slated to be delivered at the end of the month. They go to Pickering and then off to Purolater for delivery. They come in a palette of a few thousand.

    I believe their could be an earlier shipment of LCD systems...but have not heard positively of this.

    We also dont have next day available and they dont ship directly from Texas...so....sorry but that is the truth.

    As for your sku, it may have snuck through after the fix but maybe it didnt. You will only know if it gets cancelled which means it went to the build table and the computer knocked it out again. If this be the case, they will reorder it for you like they are doing for over a thousand others. I have 2 in the pack... I received an email today that said they are just fixing the BT sku which should be fixed in the next day or so. Other than that...all orders will be replaced in priority to make that pallette at the end of the month.

    to be honest, i half didn't expect it to be true so i didnt really give my hopes up. she didnt really sound too sure herself. thanks for confirming though... sure the wait is long but its not that big of an issue... as long as i get it before september =)

    Is this for Canadian orders only? The sku of the LED w/ camera in my order is 5991, and my order went into build one week ago.

    Does anyone have anymore updates on the bluetooth SKU problem? My sales rep told me my order would be rebooked today, but I phoned in and they said "in 1 or 2 days". Really frustrating, as they didn't even tell me that they cancelled my order.

    The bluetooth sku is the final problem they are tackling and, once that is fixed all orders will be reenstated; shipping will be a priority in that they are hoping to get them on the pallette at the end of the month.

    Oh and they never cancelled your order. Its automated and occurred when your system went to the build table. A sku wasnt correct so it simply rejects and cancels.
